Ceramic Women’s Watch Maintenance
1. When your ceramic women’s watch strap becomes dirty due to prolonged wear, simply use a small toothbrush dipped in soap to gently scrub it clean.
2. It’s best to place a desiccant where you store your watch, but avoid using chemicals such as mothballs or insect repellents.
3. Wear different watches for different occasions; for sports, opt for a watch with excellent waterproof and shock-resistant properties.
4. Watches marked with WATER RESISTANT or 3ATM are only water-resistant to splashes or light rain under no pressure conditions.
5. A special reminder: avoid wearing any watch in warm water or the bathroom, even if it’s a waterproof model. The heat can cause the rubber seals to age rapidly, and steam molecules, being smaller, can easily penetrate the watch case, causing internal damage.
6. For mid to high-end watches, it’s advisable to perform maintenance every two to three years, including replacing waterproof components, testing timekeeping accuracy and power consumption, cleaning the movement, and maintaining the appearance. Such maintenance services can significantly extend the lifespan of your watch.
