Cleaning Methods for German Watch Leather Bands
Using Expired Hand Cream: Employ expired hand cream for cleaning, applying it gently with a soft cloth, such as fabric from an old face mask. This method is not only effective for leather watch bands but also for all types of leather and faux leather materials, including light-colored shoes and boots. It cleans while also conditioning the leather.
Lemon Polishing Beads: Utilize “Lemon Polishing Beads” also known as “Kali Mei” for cleaning. These beads offer cleaning, polishing, and protecting benefits for leather bands, restoring their shine and luster.
Red Flower Oil: Red Flower Oil can be an effective cleaner for German watch bands. Lightly dab a glasses cloth with the oil and wipe the band clean. Note, this method may leave a slight scent on the band.
Hydrogen Peroxide Solution: Purchase hydrogen peroxide from a pharmacy for about $1.5 and mix a small amount (1/10th) with warm water and detergent. Gently brush the band with this solution. This method not only removes dirt but also disinfects and kills germs, keeping your German watch’s leather band in pristine condition.
