Then, place it near a 40-watt light bulb, approximately 15 cm away, and let it dry for about 30 minutes. This should evaporate the moisture inside the watch. It’s crucial to avoid placing the watch face directly near fire or high heat to prevent the watch glass from deforming due to heat exposure.
Method 2: The Wrist Flip
Turn the watch so the dial faces inward and the back casing outward, then wear it on your wrist. After about two hours, the moisture should dissipate. If the watch is severely water-damaged, it’s advisable to take it to a watchmaker for a servicing as soon as possible.
